DESCRIPTION

This Knife Wing Belt Buckle  was handcrafted by a couple who call themselves H.M. Coonasis,who make their works of arts a family affair. The art of inlaid was embraced in this piece, each carefully hand filed gemstone was so intricately placed. Featuring mined Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, Coral, and Jet in an classic symbolic Knife Wing Zuni design, representing half man, half eagle. During a family cross country road trip, our family collected every version this family had to offer straight from  the Zuni reservation in New Mexico.

Signed by the world renown Zuni Artist, H.M. Coonasis with this tribal engraved message in Native Language.
