Displaying the art of inlaid through each carefully placed gemstone in this piece, H.M. Coonasiss, is an elder couple living just south of Gallup in the small Zuni community in New Mexico. This masterpiece was collected straight from the reservation trading post on our family’s cross country treasure hunts years ago.Featuring mined Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, Coral, and Jet in an classic symbolic Knife Wing Zuni design, representing half man, half eagle. Knowing this is an ea dying art form among this cherished tribe, many one of kind pieces alike were collected from the Zuni.
